这是我最近从网上为孩子们淘到的书，是i can read 2系列中的一本。作者是arnold lobel，他写的frog and toad系列也是非常受欢迎。所以好的作者总是写出非常好的书。为了给儿子讲，我提前看了一遍，看完很感动。决定分享。

可能是对蝈蝈这个动物无感的缘故吧，一直比较排斥这本书，要不是大包点名还真不知道什么时候才会阅读到这本被我目前认为汪二汪三系列中最有思想深度的书。用一贯简单的语言，却通过几个平淡的故事告诉了孩子一些生活的道路。蝈蝈那个愿意走在路上探索未知世界的心和他那能够从细微平淡中观察到世间之美的眼。不要甘于墨守成规，要敢于变化，但同时也不要迷失在生活的忙碌之中就忘记了欣赏和享受世间点点滴滴的美好。这些道理居然被作者用那么简单的语言通过如此平实的故事表达出来，读过之后真的让我由衷的赞叹。强力...

娃是不太爱看的，他们的生活充满了不确定性和未知，世界对他们还没有框框。

力荐，非常有哲理的书。好的作家就是能用非常平实简单的文字说出深刻隽永的道理。孩童看故事，等长大了有生活经验了再来看，则能品出故事外的寓意。而且每个故事，每个人诠释的角度不同，看出的寓意也不同。不愧为值得收藏和力荐的书之一。

也许因为主角是种比较冷僻的动物，加上小朋友来说很难get到故事所要表达的哲学意义，所以小朋友对此书无感，倒是家长能从中得到更多的感悟。
